Yoga is for me a way of life
Yoga means union, balance or linking body, mind and soul. How to become one with yourself and your surroundings.
Yoga is so much more than cool or difficult asanas.
With yoga, you can create balance between body and soul through breathing exercises, relaxation, meditation and physical positions.
Yoga has helped me to develop physically, mentally and spiritually. Through yoga, I have also learned to face all everyday activities with a calmer and more balanced mind. My back pain is gone, I have a more mobile thoracic spine and I breathe deeper, which is important for health.
I guide a dynamic flow yoga with clear intentions and music. You are welcome as you are and you get to practice being you.
I see you as a unique individual and make the classes accessible for everyone. It should be playful and unpretentious. It can be emotional, spiritual and mental.
Yin yoga is a contemplative practice in passive positions with a light, soft stretch, performed in silence and conscious presence. Each position is held for at least 3-5 minutes, which gives us time to calm the mind as well. In yin yoga we want to access the body’s fascia and tissue, instead of the muscles.
Easy to do, fits everyone. Its relaxing and reduces stress and anxiety. Contributes to a greater conscious presence. Increases mobility in joints. Creates an inner peace. Increases flow of energy and vitality, prana.
It is a meditative and relaxing practice intended to bring the body into complete physical, mental and emotional rest. Also called Yogic sleep.
Yoga Nidra is good for recovery, relaxation, increased learning, better sleep, increased creativity
Yoga Nidra is performed lying in the savasana, dead man's position. Focus and consciousness are moved around the body in a special order to create a circle of energy through the brain. Our mind is allowed to rest and we are allowed to enter the completely relaxed state. With the body scan, we move our consciousness into the body as well as various visualization techniques to enter the yogic sleep.
Meditation begins with concentration, and Yoga Nidra begins with relaxation.
